New Jersey Kit

Arsenal New Away Kit - Dark Blue with collar
Liverpool New Away Kit - Adidas and Carlsberg in gold and 2 red strips

Chelsea New Home Kit - Same old blue

Chelsea New Away Kit - Blue strips

Man Utd New Kit - Anniversary design with a V-shape in front
I think that Arsenal away kit is very nice, simple dark blue jersey with a collar. Liverpool is normal. Chelsea home kit look a little bit weird to me as its away kit gives me an Inter feel. As for Man Utd new home kit, it gives me a feel. You know what? It is Power Rangers...

Huntelaar for Man Utd?

One of Man Utd's target, Karim Benzema is currently on the sight of Real Madrid. Once again Huntelaar is back to the sight of Man Utd. Huntelaar was once labelled as the next Ruud is back shortlisted by Man Utd.
Klaas-Jan Huntelaar (born 12 August 1983) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a striker for Spanish club Real Madrid and the Netherlands national team.
Huntelaar is a classic "number 9" striker with good technique and athleticism, who can score all types of goals with either feet and with his head. He has been compared in playing style to Marco van Basten and Fernando Morientes.

Former Netherlands national team coach Louis van Gaal has been quoted saying about the player "in the penalty box, he is the best player in the world, bar none." Nicknamed 'The Hunter', Huntelaar played previously for PSV, De Graafschap, AGOVV, Heerenveen and Ajax, before transferring to Real Madrid in January 2009.

Named Dutch Football Talent of the Year and Ajax "Player of the Year" in 2006, Huntelaar was a part of the Dutch side that won the 2006 UEFA U-21 Championship, where he became the tournament's leading goalscorer. He was also named as one of two strikers in the UEFA Team of the Tournament. He is the all-time top scorer of the Netherlands U-21 national team with 18 goals in 22 appearances. In domestic competition he finished top scorer in the Eredivisie 2005–06 and 2007–08 seasons.

He is 1.75 m with 96 appearances and 30 goals. In 2009, the player put in very good performances and lead team to the title.
According to his agent,"Dentinho is a very talented player with great skill especially ball control."

Is Glen worth £100k per month?

Liverpool had signed Glen Johnson for £17.5mil. Though Glen had not passed the medical test, they had reached an initial agreement of £100k per week which is more than Fernando Torres’s wage and almost triple of Mascherano’s wage. This might be one of the reasons why Mascherano want to leave the club.

Personally, I think it is a bit of overprice in terms of wage. Initial agreement is 4 years contract of £100k per week which is equal to £21mil. Including the transfer fee it is around £38.5mil.

Glen is a decent player, but he might not be a proven 5-stars player like Gerrard, Mascherano, Reina and Carragher. Only time can prove whether he worth it or not.

Tuesday, June 23, 2009

As Real Madrid successfully recruits Cristianno Ronaldo and Kaka, they might look to offload some players. Arsenal is looking to recruit some midfielder to strenthen their midfield, they planning on a 15 mil. Pounds bid for Wesley Sneijder.
